Two ways to change the data type in Power BI:

Click the arrow next to the column header, select edit metadata, and select the correct data type

Select the data type icon next to the column header and then select the correct data type

Select the column and use the data type dropdown in the Transform tab and select the correct data type

Select the column and use the metadata option in the Transform tab and select the correct data type
